Dear Bob,
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Carolina Children's Charity, thank you so much for accomplishing the complete redesign of our web site at www.carolinachildren.org.
Your donation of time, talent and energy to this project is greatly appreciated.
As I'm sure you recall, our site was rife with coding errors and lacking in meaningful content.
To put it bluntly, it was done for free and it looked it!
Now, our site is pleasing , useful, managed in-house, and navigable. It includes all of the
information needed by our donors, volunteers, and the families whom we help. Moreover,
it has won several awards and is ranking very high in major search engines. These are all
accomplishments that can be credited to your skill and dedication to doing the job right.
With the help of supporters such as you, we are able to help hundreds of special
Lowcountry Children every year.
Since our founding in 1987, Carolina Children's Charity been helping children from the
Lowcountry area of South Carolina fight the efforts of birth defects and disabling
diseases. In the past, we have provided assistance to cover the cost of special equipment,
summer camps, medications, medically necessary evaluation and testing, and much more
to families, schools, state agencies and hospitals, just to name a few.
Most of our assistance goes to working families, just like you and me. Most have some
kind of health insurance too. Unfortunately, even the most financially solvent family can
be devastated by the needs of a special child, and many beneficial services are not
covered by insurance. Because of the generosity of caring people like you, we are able to
say, "Yes, we can help," On behalf of Lowcountry children and their families, thank you.
Sincerely yours,
Shelli D. Quenga
Executive Director
P.S. Please retain this letter as a receipt of your donation. We have not provided and goods or services in return for your donation.
